Deskew PDF guide
What it is for
Deskew detects and corrects small rotation angles in image-only scan pages.
Before you start
Keep the original. Corrected scan pages are rasterised, while substantial text/vector pages are skipped.
Step by step
- Choose a scanned PDF.
- Select the pages to process.
- Review the correction threshold.
- Choose Deskew PDF.
- Review the per-page report and download.
What you get
A PDF with corrected image pages and copied text/vector pages.
Good to know
Corrections below 0.2 degrees are ignored. OCR is separate and should run after deskew when required.
Troubleshooting
- A page is skipped: it already contains substantial selectable text.
- No correction appears: the detected angle is below the threshold.
- Text remains unavailable: run OCR after deskew.
